What do I do if my product requests a DCS license?

The DCS License, as we explained in our post What is a DCS license? , the DCS code or license (for its acronym “Dinesat Cloud Service” is a tool that will allow you to use the software and enable new functions depending on the product.

In this case, we must take into account the type of licensing that our product has, since there are two (2) possibilities:

If it is a virtual license: the product will request it as soon as the installation is finished and it is essential to place it to access and proceed, without it the program will not start.

• Additional information: we already know that a stable internet connection is necessary for virtual licenses, but what happens if my internet connection suffers a cut? Under this scenario, it is possible to continue operating from a few minutes to a few hours, but we always recommend have an alternative, because without a network connection it becomes susceptible to interruptions due to failure in the system validation.

If it is a physical license: the product will request it as soon as the installation is finished, but it will use it as an accessory data, to activate functions such as filling in the metadata of the materials, among others. In this case, it is not essential for the use and operation of the product, but it is recommended to enter it to take full advantage of all that the automation can offer.
